Finding Peace and Purpose in Christ

I will never forget the first time I walked into Reconciliation Church. It was during a Christmas worship night, and something about it touched my heart deeply. Before that moment, I had so many questions, doubts, and fears, searching for meaning but never finding real answers.

As I kept coming back, I realized that this church wasn’t just a place of worship—it was a true spiritual family. Through God’s Word, prayer, and the love of the people around me, I felt God speaking directly to me.

God began transforming my family in ways I never expected. We started praying together as a family. Our marriage was restored with peace and trust. Our relationship with our daughter became deeper and stronger. God opened new opportunities for us to serve others.

Today, I can confidently say that Reconciliation Church changed my life. It became a place of love, support, and God’s grace, where I found the answers I had been looking for.

I thank God for His mercy and for a church that helps people find peace, hope, and true life in Christ.

Losing Everything,
We Found What Truly Matters

We lived in a small town in southern Ukraine, in the house of our dreams, working hard, raising our five daughters, and building our future. We had everything — except a relationship with God. We tried to fill the emptiness with success, material things, and vacations.

Then war destroyed everything overnight. We endured two months of occupation—hunger, hiding in basements, betrayal, shelling, and fear for our children. After escaping through minefields and crossing seven Russian checkpoints, we found ourselves in an unfamiliar city, homeless and hopeless.

That’s when we met someone who invited us to Reconciliation Bible Church. We expected nothing more than a food package, but we received so much more.

Pastor Pavlo told us: "We can offer more than food—we can offer relationships!"

At first, we didn’t understand. But these people cared for us, welcomed us, and showed us true love. For the first time in months, we smiled.

Soon, we started serving others—helping at the Relief Center, feeding people in need. And at that moment, God changed our hearts. On May 5, 2024, my husband and I gave our lives to Christ and were baptized.

We are so grateful to Reconciliation Bible Church, Pastor Pavlo, and his wife Maria for their love, compassion, and faith in action.

From Despair to Calling

I was born in a small town and grew up in a typical family, but from a young age, I began making wrong choices. As a teenager, I tried alcohol, then crime followed. When I moved to Uman for university, my life spiraled into drugs, parties, and recklessness.

Everything changed when a friend invited me to a home group at Reconciliation Bible Church. At first, I was just observing, but I was amazed at how people prayed for me — and how God answered. One night, I was caught driving under the influence. I thought I could fix the problem, but suddenly, I realized I was out of options. For the first time, I truly prayed.

The court process dragged on for months, yet in the end, my case was dismissed—without any intervention on my part. That was the moment I knew: God is real, and He cares for me. I repented, was baptized, and started a new life.

Today, I serve others just as I was once helped. At Reconciliation Bible Church, I am a deacon, leading social outreach and working with veterans and military families. I know that God transformed my life—now I want to be an instrument of change for others.
